RN/BSN

Admission criteria for the RN-BSN program

  • Active, unencumbered, United States registered nurse (RN) license (Note: if the student has an RN license that is expiring within the period of admission, the student must update the license and submit to the online Admissions team)
  • Successful completion and graduation from an approved accredited associate degree in nursing (ADN), or associate in science degree in nursing (ASN) or diploma program.
  •  Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or by permission of the school of nursing.
  • Actively practicing or having been in practice in any setting or nursing role within the past five years or by permission of the school of nursing.
     

Program delivery 

The courses within the program are delivered online in an asynchronous model.  The RN-BSN program does include practice experiences which require the student to engage in project work within the local community of residence.

RN-BSN students are expected to adhere to the BSN program policies as outlined in the Catalog including the Essential qualifications.
