Certificate - Virtual and Augmented Reality
This certificate allows students to explore and discuss the functional and philosophical underpinnings of augmented and virtual reality through hands-on projects utilizing 3D modeling and other AR/VR related software. Students will design and implement a virtual or augmented reality prototype to address a current observed need within an area which is familiar and/or close to them. Project work includes the design, implementation, and evaluation of computer-based solutions within the context of augmented- and/or virtual reality. The certificate also includes coursework in computer science theory and software development fundamentals.

Candidates for the Virtual and Augmented Reality Certificate must earn at least a 2.0 in each course, at least a 2.0 overall cumulative grade point average, and a total of 12 credit hours.
