The Doctor of Physical Therapy program offers two dual degree options - a Master of Business Administration or a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Students must complete year 4 of the DPT program and have earned no more than 1 grade of C or below to apply for the dual MBA program. (In preparation for coursework in the MBA program, students must complete BA 500 in the first term of their MBA enrollment.). Students wishing to enroll in MBA courses must submit a Graduate Change of Major form, signed by both the MBA Program Director and their advisor in the School of Physical Therapy, to the Registrar's Office in the semester prior to beginning business courses.

Candidates for the Doctorate of Physical Therapy / Master of Business Administration dual degree are required to complete all DPT requirements as stated in the DPT curriculum and will complete 31 credits in the MBA curriculum. To graduate with the DPT and MBA degrees, students must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in DPT courses and 3.0 in MBA courses.
