The filmmaking certificate program introduces students to some of the core concepts behind what goes into making movies. It is a mix of conceptual theory and hands-on practice that touches on writing, planning, shooting and editing at a beginner level.
Upon completing the Filmmaking certificate program students will be able to:
1. Students will utilize current industry equipment and software necessary for video production.
2. Students will apply skills in the development of a pre-production plan.
3. Students will analyze quality of work based on traditional artistic and technical theories.
