Students who are not pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, but who are interested in acquiring specific accounting skills as a stackable credential, should consider the Accounting Certificate. This certificate program covers both private and public accounting topics and prepares students for positions as accounts payable clerks, accounts receivable clerks, bookkeepers, or tellers.
These courses can be applied to a subsequent B.S. degree in Accounting at Husson University, used to augment a degree that the student has already achieved, or build upon prior learning to provide for a change in career. Students who wish to pursue the Accounting Certificate will take a concentrated program of 5 accounting courses (15 credits).
