Executive Nursing Business Management Certificate

This certificate is designed to provide BSN-trained nurses the opportunity to enhance their management and leadership skills.  As nurses' roles in organizations change, the ability to manage and lead programs and personnel in a variety of settings becomes an important skill.  The Husson University College of Business, in collaboration with the Husson University College of Health and Pharmacy is pleased to offer this non-licensure based certificate program.  This program is open to students who have previously earned a BSN degree.  Credits earned in the program may be applied toward an MBA degree should the student choose to apply to the MBA to continue their education.

Executive Nursing Business Management Certificate

Six-Course Certificate (18 CH)- Non-capstone; Non-internship
*Degree Requirement for admission: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and admission requirements (GPA, etc.) for graduate MBA.

Students will take the following courses (no particular sequence):

Upon completion of the six-course certificate, students may continue on towards their MBA (would need to apply for the program).

If an existing MBA student wanted to earn the Executive Nursing Business Management Certificate, students would need to apply during the first term of the program. This would be only open to students who have earned a BSN.
